As a member of the YPO Change Makers Club (link), in the past few months, I have been invited by the Greater London, Rome and Istanbul Gold chapters to share my personal experience of overcoming a mental disorder and its learnings, with local leaders, CEOs and entrepreneurs.
As a coach to high performers, I am constantly exposed to the “Superman” syndrome, a reactive response to an instinctive demand in the comfort zone.
It was an amazing opportunity to step well into the discomfort zone and experience the power of sharing our personal vulnerability, adopting a proactive approach and disrupting the syndrome instead. We discovered and tested the exponential positive impact it has in our key personal and professional relationships as well as in our pursuit of excellence, authenticity and purpose.
